OLD ILLINOIS CENTRAL RAILROAD CABOOSES

This page lists the known locations or dispositions of cabooses formerly owned by the Illinois Central Railroad.

Unless listed otherwise, each car is steel or steel over wood. Cupola without further definition indicates the cupola is located on one end of the car. A Standard Cupola is located in the center of the car, but does not extend over the sides. Wide Vision indicates the cupola is in the center of the car and extends over the side of the car.

Cabooses that came from the Gulf, Mobile & Ohio as part of the ICG merger are listed on the GM&O Caboose page.
