HISTORY
Livingston Lodge #192, F&AM was originally chartered in Livingston, Mississippi. Prior to Canton becoming the county seat, Livingston was the county seat of Madison county. Livingston Lodge went defunct in 1866. In 1872 the lodge was revived in a new location, Madison Station. In 1874 the name was changed from Livingston Lodge #192 to Madison Station Lodge #192. EVENTS
LIVINGSTON LODGE No. 192. Pursuant to authority granted at last Grand Communication, this Lodge was revived at Madison Station on 18th of March, 1872. Past Grand Master Fearn, by special appointment of Grand Master, was present at the organization of the Lodge and installed Bro. W. G. Pride as W.M., James Bennett as S.W., R. E. Andrews as J.W.. The Lodge is now favorably located and bids fair to be prosperous. From Grand Lodge proceedings of 1873.
On motion of Bro. Jas. Newbaker, Jr., and J. C. Cameron,
it was Resolved, that the name of Livingston Lodge, No. 192, now located
at Madison Station, be changed to Madison Station Lodge.

The Grand Secretary reported that on December 10, 1894 he received the charter and minute book of Madison Station Lodge, No. 192, the charter having been voluntarily surrendered because of reduced membership, and general apathy. Issued certificates to several of the members.
